Dream Change • Honoring Earth as Self I have always designed my life activities around the perspectives I desire to paint about. Dream Change Coalition has been an incredible part of my life for several years and has affected me personally and artistically. Workshops with John Perkins, founder of Dream Change, and a trip to Ecuador with a group lead by John in October 1998 were profound moments in my development. In March of 2002 we returned to the jungle community of Miazal for a very intense week of ceremony with the Shuar people. My paintings reveal themselves to me as I paint them. I am working on a new series of paintings that relate to my most recent understanding of my relationship to the earth, the jungle and my home. Susan Cohen Thompson
